Adair is a long-time nonprofit communicator with a passion for making missions visible. She founded Let It Shine with a mission to make quality communications strategy accessible to small nonprofits.

With 15+ years of experience in nonprofit and government communications, Adair brings a background that blends communications research and testing, strategic messaging, digital marketing, grant writing, documentary video, and good old-fashioned storytelling. She also hold a Master’s in Social Service Administration (MSW), which grounds her work in empathy, systems thinking, and a deep understanding of the challenges communities face.

A North Carolinian originally, Adair got her degree in literary studies from Duke University and spent her early career in Washington, DC. She now lives in Greenville, SC with her spouse, two daughters, and a virtual zoo of furry and scaly critters..
